Livraria is a non-profit hobby blog that finds the forgotten, the watershed, and the historically critical books which illuminate our Philo-Theological ancestry of today’s Zeitgeist. A dialectal synthesis of a research institute and publisher, through hobby translations of Antiquitäten books and original research Livraria attempts to bring to modern printing historic manuscripts that have antiquated and unreadable translations, or have long fallen out of print. With clean modern versions of ancient and vintage books and for the sake of knowledge not profit, Livraria breathes new life into critically important philosophy and literature titles in the public domain, spanning from the Ancient Greeks to the 20th century—from the Stoics to the Scholastics, the English Empiricists to the German Continentals.
